At Flywheel we live by a few simple core values and we stick by them.
Our hackathons are an institution at Flywheel. We take time each quarter to explore new technologies, pitch new ideas, and have some fun building amazing proof of concepts.
Sort of based on the movie, but we aren't in trouble at a high school. Every week we have a breakfast club and discuss important worldly topics such as "What's the best apocalypse movie of all time?"
Every week we have a World's Fair. We bring the team together to share key demos across frontend, backend, data engineering. We encourage unpolished demos. The type that fail a few times before we get them right together.
Why? We're not sure. But it has become a thing. Regular pizza bakeoffs are now in session.
